Obituary for Darleen M. Bauer

Darleen M. Bauer age 73, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, January 14, 2018, surrounded by family. She was born on April 11, 1944, the daughter of Roy and Irene (Sorg) Bohnsack. She married Ronald Bauer on October 3, 1964. She worked at many jobs she loved, but none more that being part of the Culver’s team. Most of all she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Darleen was involved in many organizations throughout the years, some of those include Jaycettes, Red Cross Blood Mobile, and the Spring Green EMT. Survivors include husband Ronald Bauer, her daughters Colleen (Stan) Whaley, Michelle (Howard) Orcutt, all of Spring Green; grandchildren Trinaty (Joe) Walch, Rachel Orcutt, and Michael Orcutt; her sisters, Lorraine Ott, Eleanor Bohnsack, Joyce Richardson and sisters-in-laws JoAnn Bohnsack and Anne Bohnsack; brothers and sisters in-law, Stan (Rosetta) Bauer, Carol (Jack) Schmalawski, Russell Bauer, Sharon (Lenny) Heiser, Dennis Bauer, Kevin Bauer, Diane (Gene) Wilkinson; many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by an infant son Michael, parents Irene and Roy Bohnsack, brothers Ken Bohnsack and Victor Bohnsack; brothers-in-law, Damon Richardson and Rodger Ott; mother and father-in-law Sarah and Alfred Bauer. A Mass in memory of Darleen will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Spring Green with burial in the church cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at St. John’s Catholic Church from 4:30 P.M.-7:00 P.M. and on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass. Memorials may be given to St. Johns Catholic School, Agrace Hospice Care, Spring Green Ambulance or Spring Green Community Food Pantry.
