Obituary for Ruth M. LeBansky

Ruth Marie (Travis) LeBansky, 80 of Richland Center, WI passed away surrounded by her family and friends on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Pine Valley Community Village. She was born on October 13, 1937 in Richland County the daughter of John and Elizabeth (Ford) Travis. She was married to Wayne LeBansky on June 4, 1955 at the Buck Creek Church. Together they raised 6 children. She worked at Pine Valley Manor as a nurse’s aide and did home care for many years. She enjoyed cross stitching, reading, playing cards, crosswords and cherished spending time with her family and friends, especially her close friends Carol S. and Brenda D.  Ruth is survived by Wayne LeBansky; six children, Lou Ann (Don) Walton of Richland Center, John LeBansky of Richland Center, Dixie (Edwin) Wynhoff of Richland Center, Shelby (Brian) Harris of Viola, Debra LeBansky of Wonewoc and Travis LeBansky of Richland Center, 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Larry (Pat) Travis of Sauk City and Jarry (Bev) Travis of Machesney Park, IL, a sister, Judy Cornwall of Richland Center, many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Ruth was preceded in death by parents, John and Elizabeth Travis, 2 children, Donald H. LeBansky and Angela M. LeBansky.  She was our angel on earth who always put others above herself.  She was a very kind and generous women who will be missed very very much by all who she touched.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Stafford Funeral Home in Richland Center at 12:00 Noon.  Ron Fruit will officiate with burial in the Sextonville Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.  Online condolences available at www.staffordfuneralhomes.com.  The Stafford Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
