Edward C. “Ed” Tubb age 77 of Plain passed away of Cancer on Saturday, September 8, 2012  at the Greenway Manor Nursing Home in Spring Green.  He was born on February 5, 1935 the son of Edward G. and Lucile (Clemo) Tubb in Lone Rock. He was married on December 26, 1964 to the former Mary Ann Moore.  Ed served in the U.S. Army and was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain.  He was a lover of the great outdoors and always liked to sit on the front porch and watch a good storm.  Family and friends were very important to him. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Tubb of Plain, 4 daughters, Bridget Tubb of Milwaukee, Kelly (Michael) Disrud of Lodi, Corinne (Douglas) Donner of Middleton, Mary Pat (Derek) Bolme of Bettendorf, Iowa, 4 grandchildren, Aisling Tubb-Ulrich, Ella Donner, Greta and Fritz Bolme, his mother, Lucile Tubb of Spring Green, a brother, Richard (June) Tubb of Westby, a sister, Trudi (Peter) Mullen of Prairie du Sac, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, Edward G. Tubb and a nephew, Craig Tubb. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home in Spring Green.  Fr. Mike Resop will officiate with a private family burial in the Button Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home from 9:30 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Luke’s School Endowment Fund.
