James H. Strang age 72 of Richland Center passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 6, 2012. He was born on
November 14, 1939 in Richland County the son of Francis and Tressa (Hall) Strang. James was a lifelong farmer, drove school bus, did custom farm work, was the Rockbridge Town Patrolman, liked tractor pulling and enjoyed
volunteering for Star Spangled Celebration. Survivors include his mother, Tressa Strang of Richland Center, a sister, Eva Jeffers of Richland Center, 2 brothers, Fred (Margie) Strang of North Carolina, Joseph (Carol) Strang of Richland Center, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father,  Francis Strang, grandparents, Joseph and Charlotte Hall, and an aunt, Margaret Ekleberry. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stafford Funeral Home in Richland Center. Pastor Larry Engel will officiate with burial in the Richland Center Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday at the Stafford Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:00 A.M..  The Stafford Funeral Home in Richland Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
