Roger L. Kerska age 73 of Spring Green passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Tuesday, June 28, 2011.  He was born on September 9, 1937 in Viola, WI the son of Emil and Nita (Stoikes) Kerska.  Roger was employed at Wisconsin Pole Structures and was a U.S. Postal Carrier in the Spring Green area for over 20 years.  He enjoyed many years of league bowling, golfing, Badger football games, River Valley High School volleyball games and playing cards with his friends.  Survivors include 4 sons, Michael L. (DeeDee) of La Crescent, MN, Stephen L. (Kim) of Plain, Ricky L. (Kim)  of Sauk City, Ronald L. (Sarah) of DeForest, 12 grandchildren, a brother, Walter Kerska of Viola, WI, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil and Nita Kerska, an infant sister, a sister-in-law, Betty Kerska, a niece, Diana Myhre and special friends, Frank and Julie Bruhn.  A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011 from 5 P.M.-8 P.M. at the Richardson-Stafford Funeral Home in Spring Green.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made.
