Erin N. Dischler, age 31 of Plain passed away unexpectedly at home in her sleep on Thursday, June 9, 2011.  She was born on June 30, 1979 in Plain, the daughter of Alan and Lauri (Alt) Dischler.  Erin was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain and also a participant in Special Olympics bowling. She graduated from River Valley High School in Spring Green.  After graduation, Erin started working at VARC in Reedsburg where she made many new friends. She loved music, dancing, going out to eat and spending time with family and friends.  Erin never had much to say, but whoever met her made a connection with her and fell in love with her cute little smile.

Erin is survived by her parents, Alan and Lauri Dischler of Plain, her sister Kristen (Cole) Brunson and their son (Erin’s nephew) Brayden Brunson of Plain, her grandparents, Dick and Nancy Fisher of Lone Rock and Harlan Alt of Lone Rock and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Gerhard and Rose Dischler of Plain, Rosy Alt of Lone Rock and great grandmother Marian Rentz of Richland Center.

 A Mass in Erin’s memory will be held on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Plain.  Fr. Mike Resop and Fr. Raymond Dischler will concelebrate with burial in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, June 13, 2011 from 4:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at St. Luke’s Catholic Church and again on
Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of Mass.
