Rita R. Miller age 78 of Baraboo passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 7, 2011 at the St. Clare Hospital.  She was born on February 5, 1932 in Ashland, WI the daughter of Walter and Helen (Lewandowski) Fitzgerald.  She was married on August 20, 1955 to Jerold Miller.  Rita worked the majority of her working career at Jefferson Meadows Care Center as director of nursing.  She later worked at the Meadows in Spring Green as a Registered Nurse.  Survivors include, 4 children, Jeff (Ae Suk) Miller and Tim (Michelle) Miller, Cathy Horenberger all of Baraboo and Deb (Gayle) Tichenor of Spring Green, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 sisters, Sally Kotney and Mary Lou (Sam) Armstrong both of Ashland, WI, 2 brothers, Tom (Phyllis) Fitzgerald of Finland, MN and Jerry (Ginger) Fitzgerald of Mosinee, WI, a sister-in-law, Faye Fitzgerald of New London, WI, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Helen Fitzgerald, her husband, Jerold Miller, 2 brothers, John and Robert Fitzgerald, 2 daughters, Lauri Tichenor and Pam Miller and a granddaughter, Jessica Doro.  As per Rita’s wishes there will be no funeral services.
