Bernard “Ben” Kern age 88 of Boaz, passed away on Saturday, November 27, 2010. He was born November 28, 1921, the son of Engelbert and Jeannette (Valentine) Kern. He was married to Jeannette (Koeneman) on January 4, 1949
Survivors include: a son, Bernie (Kelly) Kern of Blue River, a daughter Gracie (Gary) Clark of Bloom City, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a sister Gloria Baranski of Michigan and 2 brothers, Jim and Don Kern both of Minnesota, and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 11:00 A.M at the Stafford Funeral Home in Richland Center. Pastor Craig Peach will officiate with burial in the Boaz Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Local Veterans Military Honors Unit. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at the Staffford Funeral Home in Richland Center from 9:00 -11:00 AM.Location Name
